Sick of the same old Hen weekend activities and looking for something truly different for you and your fellow hens to do in Liverpool over the weekend. It includes barrels, planks, ropes, water and the possibility of getting completely and utterly soaked – that's right ever fancied pulling a Ray Mears? Well now you can by trying to build a raft to float on water as your hen weekend activity.

Stag and Hen Liverpool has linked up with this brand new £10 million adventure and watersports centre situated a short train ride and walk from the city centre of Liverpool to give you the best possible equipment, instructors and experience if you choose to do Hen Raft Building whilst on your Hen Weekend in Liverpool.

When you arrive the experienced instructors will discuss what you want out of the session and then after your safety briefing will supervise what is sure to be absolute madness. These raft building sessions in Liverpool  run in groups of 10 hens with one instructor so for larger groups you will be split up into different groups of hens and can compete against each other. Each session is run for two hours to allow fifteen minutes preparation, ninety minutes on the water and fifteen minutes to get out of the water and pack up. Our price is a per hen cost based on a two hour session, simply multiply it by the number of sessions you want to get to the final per hen price.

Wet suits are provided by the centre for each hen so all you need bring are a spare change of clothes, old soft sole shoes that you won’t mind getting wet and a towel. Plenty of lockers are available along with a full set of changing rooms with showers and toilets. The centre also provides on the “wet side” of the building the ever popular Galley cafe where such things as jacket potatoes, sarnies, chips and burgers are available to purchase whilst still in your wetsuits and on the “dry side” the attractive bistro cafe where a full lunchtime and evening menu is available with such dishes as a steak baguette or gammon and chips. Both have floor to ceiling windows to allow those eating to look out over the lake and those hens who may not want to take part and stand on the jetty to watch.
